Privacy Policy

1. About This Policy

AccaAmici is a free Premier League predictions and stats website for adults aged 18 and over.

The website is operated by Thomas John Manzoni, using the name AccaAmici. The operator is responsible for the personal information handled in connection with the website.

This policy explains what information is used, why it is used and your privacy rights.

2. Using the Website

You do not need an AccaAmici account. The website does not ask you to submit your name, email address or payment details to view predictions, explore stats or build an acca.

Fixtures, predictions, statistics and odds are public football information. They are not personalised using information about you.

Optional Google Analytics helps us understand how the website is used. It only runs after you select Accept analytics. Rejecting analytics does not limit access to any website feature.

We do not use advertising pixels or embedded social-media content.

3. Information Saved in Your Browser

The website uses localStorage to remember these settings:

Odds format: Your decimal or fractional preference is saved when you change the odds-format setting.

Bet slip: Weekly Tips saves your selections, the displayed odds and your stake in your browser. An empty slip with the default stake may be saved when the page first loads successfully, even before you make a selection.

The website code does not send these saved values to our server, Google Analytics or bookmaker links. They are used locally to restore your settings and slip.

Selections are removed when the page updates and identifies that kickoff has passed or the fixture is no longer available in the predictions data. This does not delete the saved stake or the storage entry.

The odds-format and bet-slip settings have no automatic expiry. You can remove them by clearing website data for accaamici.com in your browser.

Analytics choice: We also save whether you accepted or rejected analytics, together with the choice date and consent version. This choice is remembered for six months and is not sent to Google as an analytics event. After it expires, we ask again before enabling analytics.

The website does not use sessionStorage.

4. Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage and improve its content, navigation and features.

What Analytics Measures

Analytics can collect:

• Pages visited and information about visits, such as their time and duration.
• Referring websites and campaign information, where available.
• Browser and device information and approximate location.
• Interactions with features, including slate switches, odds-format changes, match-information tabs and opening the bet slip.
• Counts of selections added or removed, without the fixture, chosen outcome or slip contents.
• Offers displayed and offer or terms links clicked, including the offer ID, bookmaker, displayed headline and page placement.
• Clicks on social profiles, safer-gambling resources and the support email link.

An offer click tells us that a link was used. It does not tell us whether you registered with a bookmaker, deposited money or placed a bet.

What We Do Not Send

We do not send your name, email address, message contents, stake amounts or bet-slip selections to Google Analytics. Clicking the support email link records the interaction, not your email or message.

Analytics cookies contain browser identifiers that can distinguish visits from the same browser. This means the information is not fully anonymous, even though we do not attach your name or an AccaAmici account to it.

Google receives technical information when your browser contacts its service. According to Google, Analytics uses IP addresses to derive approximate location and does not log or store individual IP addresses.

How We Configure Analytics

We use Analytics to understand and improve website performance and usage, not for personalised advertising.

Google signals and user-provided data collection are disabled. We do not send a User-ID or link this website’s Analytics property to Google Ads. Advertising consent remains denied, and optional account-level data sharing is disabled.

Your Choice

Before you accept, the Google Analytics script is not loaded and no Analytics requests are sent. If you reject, Analytics stays off. Interactions made before acceptance are not saved to send later.

You can change your choice through Privacy settings in the footer. Rejecting after previously accepting stops further Analytics collection and removes the Analytics cookies used by this site. The page may reload to apply the change.

Withdrawing consent does not automatically erase information already collected lawfully. You can contact us about your data rights.

5. Analytics Cookies

These cookies are set only after you accept analytics:

Your consent choice lasts six months separately from these cookies. Once that choice expires, Analytics remains off until you accept again.

You can remove cookies and browser storage through your browser settings. Clearing all website data also removes your saved consent choice, odds format and bet slip.

6. Hosting and External Images

The website is hosted using Google Firebase Hosting. Serving a page involves processing technical information such as your IP address and the requested resource.

We have not enabled Firebase Hosting request-log exports to Cloud Logging. This does not mean Google processes no technical information when delivering or securing the website.

Club crests on the League Table and Top Scorers pages load from crests.football-data.org. Your browser contacts that service to retrieve the images, which exposes technical request information such as your IP address to the provider.

Apart from optional Google Analytics and these club crests, website scripts, logos and social icons are served from our own site. Fonts are supplied by your device.

7. Contacting Us

If you email info@accaamici.com, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to include.

We use this information to answer enquiries, investigate problems, consider suggestions and handle privacy requests. We do not add you to a mailing list.

Our email service is Apple iCloud Mail. Please avoid sending passwords, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information.

8. Affiliate Links and Other Websites

Some bookmaker links contain an affiliate identifier. This allows the affiliate provider to attribute referrals to AccaAmici.

Our site does not send your saved bet slip, stake or selections through these links. Following a link may disclose that you arrived from accaamici.com.

If you have accepted analytics, we also record offer-link clicks as described above.

We use affiliate reports showing sign-up totals and commission to understand referrals and administer affiliate income. These are separate from Google Analytics reports.

Bookmakers and affiliate providers may process additional information under their own privacy policies, including information used to attribute a sign-up. Check those policies before using their services.

Links to social platforms and safer-gambling services also take you to separate websites with their own privacy policies.

9. Why We Use Personal Information

Consent: We rely on your consent for optional Google Analytics and its cookies. You can withdraw this at any time through Privacy settings.

Legitimate interests: Where we process personal information to operate and secure the website, respond to messages, remember privacy choices or administer affiliate reporting, we rely on legitimate interests.

Those interests are maintaining a functioning website, respecting visitors’ choices, helping visitors and managing the project’s enquiries and affiliate arrangements.

We do not use your personal information to generate football predictions or make automated decisions about you.

10. Retention and Security

Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is set to two months, with resetting user retention on new activity disabled. Standard aggregated reports can remain available for longer; the two-month setting does not apply to every Analytics report or all Google service records.

Analytics cookies and the consent choice have the durations explained above.

We delete support correspondence when it is no longer required to resolve an enquiry, follow up an issue or retain a necessary record of how it was handled.

Odds-format and bet-slip settings remain on your device until cleared.

Technical information processed by service providers is subject to their applicable retention arrangements. We do not maintain an exported Firebase Hosting request-log archive.

Access to our hosting project, Analytics account and email account is restricted. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

11. Service Providers and Overseas Processing

Google provides Firebase Hosting and Google Analytics. Apple provides iCloud Mail.

Their infrastructure and support arrangements may involve processing outside the UK, including in the United States.

Google Analytics processing is governed by the data-processing terms accepted for our account. These terms include provisions for international transfers and applicable safeguards, including contractual protections where required.

You can read more in Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s Data Processing Terms and Apple’s Privacy Policy.

Contact us if you would like further information about the international-transfer arrangements relevant to your information.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase your personal information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy.

You can withdraw Analytics consent through Privacy settings and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will consider requests in accordance with applicable data-protection law.

Email info@accaamici.com to make a privacy request. We normally respond within one month. Where a lawful extension applies, we will explain it.

We may need information to verify your identity or locate the relevant records. Some technical records may not allow us to identify you. Information held only in your browser cannot be retrieved by us.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

13. Age Requirement

AccaAmici is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not perform identity-based age verification. Please do not use the website if you are under 18.

14. Changes and Contact

We may update this policy when the website or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.

For privacy questions, contact info@accaamici.com.
